Although we monitor auction placements and buying activity, users are ultimately accountable for ensuring that the act of buying and selling item(s) is a responsible activity and the items auctioned are appropriate. All items listed for sale must be industry specific and may not be in violation of certain copyrights, trademarks, or other rights. As part of the normal operation of our site we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you . By entering into our User Agreement, you agree that, with respect to other user’s personally identifiable information that you obtain through the site or through an BakingNetwork.com-related communication or BakingNetwork.com-facilitated transaction, BakingNetwork.com hereby grants to you a license to use such information only for: (a) BakingNetwork.com-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages (which includes Legal Buddy/VeRO Program Members requests for user contact information to investigate an intellectual property or other infringement claim), (b) third party services offered through BakingNetwork.com (i.e. escrow, insurance, shipping and fraud complaints) and (c) any other purpose that such user expressly opts into after adequate disclosure of the purpose(s). In the case of (b), you must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them.
